Pre war British Administration Buildings

Survey Office Kuala Lumpur

The Padang. Kuala Lumpur.

Supreme Court. Seremban.

Ipoh Railway Station.

Ipoh post office.

The buildings I posted above are very much alive and well today. It has always surprised me why this buildings escape the destruction from air raids. One theory that I can conclude is the British took the fight outside the cities. Most of the infrastructures in the major cities of Malaya was left intact. Most battles were at crossroads or near strategic bridges on the Peninsula.
