Good effort, some minor mistakes with weapons and webbing. The rifleman in the tin hat is carrying a Lee Enfield No4 rifle which was not issued at the time of the Jap invasion of Malaya. The No 1 was in use at that time. The rifleman is wearing Pattern 44 webbing which came into use in Malaya after the war.
The tommy gunner is carrying a bergen rucksack which was also not in use in Malaya. I doubt berets were also worn in Malaya at that time. The Argylls wore a bonnet, quite like a beret.
